Workforce Profile of Alternatively Certified Teachers in South Carolina for 2022–23

Alternatively certified teachers are a growing, yet understudied section of the South Carolina teacher workforce. This report examines the profile of educators within the group, including longitudinal growth trends, distribution across the state, and more, for a better understanding of the state’s educator pipeline.
