This annual report shares new findings from the 2023–24 SC Teacher Exit Survey. Key questions analyze the demographics of PK–12 teachers leaving their positions in South Carolina public schools, as well as their types of mobility (e.g., retiring, moving to teach in another school district) and factors contributing to their decisions. As a yearly release, the study also highlights longitudinal data trends of the state’s exiting teachers.
