South Carolina Alternative Route Teacher Pipeline for 2023–24

This report presents a detailed analysis of South Carolina’s alternative route teacher pipeline and workforce for the 2023–24 academic year. Longitudinal data going back to 2019–20 reveal patterns in the preparation and retention of alternative route teachers, as well as the growth of state-approved alternative certification pathways.
